Get to know Jake?

So Jake, you've been working at Profusion Planning for almost three months now; we think it would be good to find out a little more about what makes you tick:

Why You chose Profusion?

The winning moment was Brad and Steve organising a Brekky for me prior to onboarding, it showed me how much value they place on the team ethos!

Best thing about working at Profusion?

The opportunity for further development, and collaborating with such a unique group of people, who all really enjoy what they do.

What you like most about financial advice?

The ability to make an impactful difference on someone’s life is so rewarding as well as being able to turn those difficult conversations people often fear into comfortable ones.

Where you want to be in 5 years time?

I’ll be a practicing adviser here at Profusion with 3 or so years’ experience, give or take!

Your greatest experience in life?

I have so many, and many more to come although I’d say being in Munich for the opening few days of Oktoberfest is something I’ll never forget.

Favourite sporting team?

Hard to go past the Australian cricket team, especially when Hawthorn are giving me nothing to cheer about!

Best Holiday?

I did a solo trip to New Zealand a few years back, skiing on the slopes and hitchhiking around town – very eye opening being in your own company for a prolonged amount of time.

Person you look up to (don't be like everyone else in the team and say me)? 

Every adviser on the team, I love what they all bring to the table on an individual level, as said before, they all enjoy what they do, and it makes me very excited for my future.

Favourite hobby/activity (maybe say 4wding/camping rather than shining tyres)?

Camping! There’s something magical about being able to get off the beaten track to find your own oasis with not a person in sight. (it also justifies my unnecessary spending on my car)
